We need your help!

In no particular order, Partizanfilm believes in the value of film, of communal experiences, of vibrant urban centers, and of democratic business structures. We encourage everyone who wants to support us to become a member. We also gratefully accept donations, which will help pay for an extremely costly renovation.

At-home streaming services have put moviegoing at risk, and philanthropy has taken on a key role in keeping theaters alive. Across the country, art-house cinemas have reincorporated as nonprofits. Similarly, Partizanfilm has applied for 501(c)(3) status for the purpose of soliciting charitable contributions and arts grants.

The federal government typically takes more than six months to process Form 1023, which we submitted on April 1, 2025. Donations to Partizanfilm will become retroactively tax-deductible if and when the IRS accepts our application. We’ll get in touch at that time.
